Operational Assessment and Revenue Redesign Produces Initial Results
Based on the findings from our comprehensive operational assessment report, this client was able to reduce days in A/R to 48 while in the process of completing the overall redesign of the revenue cycle. With staff selection and training only a few weeks off, this client is looking forward to even more improvements, especially in the area of bad debt and self pay collections as the new process is implemented.
Access Assessment and Staffing Analysis Completed
We recently completed a comprehensive assessment of the patient scheduling and access process at a large mid-western community hospital. Included in the assessment was an analysis of staffing needs based on current processes, as well as a recommended staffing based on best practice processing. Detailed recommendations gave this client a starting point to prioritize issues and improve workflow within the department.
T-Qual Assessment Identified Financial Counseling Opportunities
A T-Qual analysis of approximately 800 patient accounts identified a significant discrepancy between perceptions concerning financial counseling and actual, documented results. After the assessment was completed, senior leadership within this patient access department revamped the entire financial counseling portion of the department, resulting in significant improvements in cash collections.

A large Midwestern physician clinic organization contracted with us for an operational assessment of their revenue cycle operations. The work flows and recommendations are being used to improve operations and increase the bottom line of this organization.
